Converting manual to power door locks

 · Discussion Starter · #1 · . I'm tired of having my door actuators replaced and this last round it lasted only 7 months. So I understand there is a way to convert to manual door locks by just removing the attenuator then you can push the lock up or down. I got two doors from a local JY, 02 Ranger I think, that are fully powered. I hope to swap over all of the OEM stuff to my manual doors. There is a thread on another site that wires up the OEM power windows without using the factory dash harness, just the door harness and a little more, it looks a lot easier than trying to put in a Dash Harness. Designed to convert your vehicles manual trunk release to power. A great addition when installing power door locks or a keyless entry system. Most powerful solenoid on the market for a trunk pop. This motor is the professionals choice. How hard would it be to convert my 01 regular cab from all manual to power? It would be just the 2 mirrors, locks, and windows. My first priority would be the mirrors though as I want to get a set of the power/heated tow mirrors. Shouldn't be too hard to do though. Any advice would be great.:thumbsup.
